Humans

Humans do not excel at anything. This does not mean they are not strong. This just means that they are balanced. They can be quite strong, agile, intelligent as well as being good at other things, but they are not THE BEST at anything, Aside from being neutral and killing each other. They didn’t even know the powers of spellcasting until it was introduced to them by a species now extinct. Humans are also the race with the biggest population. This population is mainly based in the province of Rush. They come in black, white, brown and yellow.


Angels

Angels are not divine beings as some may assume. Angels are like a cross between a Bird and a human, but mostly bird. Some say that angels are the result of a failed genetic transfer, but ancient tomes have shown that angels have been around since before genetic transformation was ever possible. Angels are slightly faster than average but less strong, they are also quite potent in spellcasting. They are covered in feathers except for thir talons. Angels have skinny legs ending in 3 talons, a pair of arms sprouting out of them a bit closer to the center of their chest than humans and wings attached to their backs. They have the eyes of a bird but the hearing is slightly more human like. They also have a beak. They are a bit shorter than humans but like any race, some of them are bigger and some are smaller. They come in a diversity of colors just like most of the other races.


Skazzeits

The skazzeit are a reptilian race. They are fully scaled and usually walk on 4 legs but can walk on 2 if necessary. They are very strong in spellcasting but lack strength. A human that studied spellcasting all of its life would be as good as an average, middle aged skazzeit. They have 5 toes feet with claws and are quite good at blending into the environment because of their exotic scale patterns. They have skinny arms and legs and usually skinny bodies. Their eyes are best at detecting motion but not good at very much else. They have no “Ears” but can “hear” low vibrations. They also have a long tail which they can curl up


Tulls

If you pictured an 8 foot tall being with horns and a skinny tail filled with muscle, you have a Tull. A decently strong tull can pull trees right out of the ground like skazzeits throw sticks. The problem with tulls is that they’re not very smart, meaning they have little to no chance of becoming a spellcaster, or an educator. The other thing is their temper. They are an easily angered race with no patience and a love for alcohol. The tulls are completely covered in fur as well. They stand on two large hoofed feet attached to their heavily muscled body by heavily muscled legs. Their arms are the same as their legs but with a five fingered hand on the end of the limb. They have better than average hearing and vision as well as a well developed sense of smell. They have two small, sharp horns extending from the top of their head. All of the tulls start with brown fur, but usually dye it.


Miati

The Miati are a feline type species both mentally and physically. They are fast, agile and think that they are the kings of the world. They treat everyone else, especially the Tulls, like a piece of grass that they stepped on. They do not enjoy fighting because they think fighting everyone else is too easy for them. When you piss off a Miati it can fight though. They use their speed to dodge and attack before you even realise your fighting. The Miati are not incredibly strong, slightly weaker than humans, but are double the speed. They walk on four legs usually, but have the ability to walk on two. They are covered in fur from the tips of their paws to their big ears. They can hear and see quite well adding to a strong sense of smell. Their tail is long, furry and flexible. It is usually used for taunting.


Gradions

The gradions are smart. Incredibly smart. People agree that if you could know everything, it would be the Gradions that do it first. The trickiest riddles of all the other races are solved easily by the Gradions while some of the easier riddles of the Gradions are left unsolved by the smartest in the other races. The only things that the Gradions don’t know are the big questions like what created the universe and what color should I dye the icing on this cake. Gradions look like humans a bit, but they’re a lot smaller and weaker. Their skin is also translucent so you can see their blood rushing through their veins. The other huge difference is the head size. The Gradions have a very strong neck to support their twice the human size head. They have eyesight just like humans as well as hearing but are worse at magic. The Gradions have a more scientific point of view.


Lathee

The Lathee are the masters of the underwater domain. They can swim super fast with maximum control. If you fight a Lathee in water, you will lose. Lathee can also survive above water in the air, but they are much more superior in the water. Above water they are like humans in terms of strength and speed but worse, when underwater though, they have no reduction on power like most beings do attacking underwater and can move faster. They have five toed feet with webbing between the toes with the same between their hands. Their body is slim, but muscled to provide the least water resistance. They have eyes and ears made for detecting underwater to their vision and hearing are better there and bad above water. The Lathee are covered in hard green scales to blend in underwater, but some patterning occurs in the brightness of the color.


So here are 7 races you can be so far, I may post more as I get the ideas, but if you want to give making a race a go, just post your idea here! Surprised

Hrygori

There are only two Hrygori. They were created as counter-parts to balance out the morality of _____. Wielding finite, but incredible power, the Hrygori aid the people of ____ when in extreme turmoil. Granted knowledge superior to the Gradion, the Hrygori use their psychokinetic abilities to replace the fact that they cannot make physical contact with anything on certain realms of existence, including _____. Their superb mental abilities reach the extent of disassembling matter and reassembling elsewhere, telepathic communication and control over the properties of the space around them. They also contain a strange inability to advance in power.
Axiom Kourno Rectitude, the lighter of the two, dwells in Grigori Kyra, a feathered plane containing botanical ingredients for every use known. Kourno fights for a higher morale standard, though he is more furious about his battle then his counter-part. When a dispute breaks out among the nations of ____, Kourno tends to stand firmly with the alliance he deems of a higher righteousness in the present situation. Never fighting himself, Kourno gives strategic advice and transmits orders to soldiers via mental psychics.
Axiom Vralen Amoral, the darker, dwells in Grigori Jeal, a plane of severe oddity and torture which can never be truly described. Vralen takes pleasure in watching the people of ____ struggle, but takes his battle with his counter-part very seriously. When a dispute takes place, Vralen goes aid the side he believes is going to cause the most mayhem. Vralen does what he can for advice, then infiltrates enemy lines by possessing an enemy soldier and taking part in planning and battle plans of the enemy.
Not being regular humanoids, Kourno and Vralen take on irregular forms. Resembling a ghost more than anything, they are quite unique. Possessing no innards, they are basically a shell to immense power and knowledge. A shroud of fog is always surrounding them, concealing most of their body, but this shroud dissipates in Jeal and Kyra. Those that have seen them without the shroud describe them as translucent humanoids possessing no face. They wear no clothes as there is nothing to cover or protect. The faint outline a body can be seen, though there is few indentifying features. Although, Kourno does emit a faint light, whereas Vralen is surrounded by shadow.
Kourno and Vralen are mentally connected; they can communicate mentally and see through each others eyes. Even though the mentally connection is strong, they can never be near each other. Even being in the proximity of one another causes them to war using powers locked within them.
Outside of war and conflict between nations, Kourno and Vralen act as agents of divine intervention, or damnation. A severe mistake is made by a single person that leads to chaos for those around them. Power hungry dictators that take a step too far. Vralen is the one to deal with damnation. A visit to Jeal is enough to snap anyone back to their senses, but some require something different. Mazes and puzzles are a favourite, but a physical challenge can bring the mightiest warriors to their knees.
A lost cause in a righteous fight for the bettering of ____. A decision is about to be made that can only lead to tragedy. Kourno deals with divine intervention. Giving a sign to inspire perseverance or courage .Whispering in the mind of person of the edge. A trip to Kyra is reward enough for any hero.
No one really knows much about Kourno and Vralen. For as long as anyone can remember they have been watching over _____. Their origin is shrouded even deeper in mystery. Not even they themselves know where they came from. Rumours circulate, but no one knows for sure.

Potunio

Potunio were once the greatest race in the province of Portilus. They controlled most of the land and enforced there rules upon all those living within the province.
Potunio are small beings resembling mechanical bots, but are of flesh and blood. Standing up straight Potunio only measure 1 foot. Their combat abilities are limited as for the fact that they are unable to use magic and aren’t able to swing a weapon very hard. What gives the Potunio there power is their magnificent speed and agility. Able to move at incredible speed and jump to implausible highs, Potunio were gifted at dodging until an opening is shown. Not being of size to wield weapons made for larger races, and not being able to make their own, Potunio use the spikes protruding from their back as a natural defence and weapon. During battle, the spikes become rigid and tough allowing defence against physical hits and giving the ability to stab and cut. Rolling into a ball gives Potunio extra defence, but restricts attacking to the feet of an enemy.
The Potunio were feared throughout the land, until the Ny came. The Ny are a fierce race of large demons. They slipped into the province without anyone noticing and successfully took the main bases simultaneously. Slowly killing of the remaining Potunio, the Ny, took control of Portilus and caused the Potunio to become greatly endangered. The remains of the species spread out across the land, struggling to survive in a world that did not respect the power they once had.
